What happened?
Reject each file at attachment-selection time when it exceeds the account tier’s per-file limit: 10 MiB for no Nitro, 50 MiB for Nitro Basic or Classic, and 500 MiB for Nitro. For rejected regular-message attachments, present an explicit optional fallback that uploads eligible files to Catbox (permanent, up to 200 MB / 200,000,000 bytes) or Litterbox (temporary, up to 1 GB / 1,000,000,000 bytes) and inserts the returned link into the draft; never upload to a third party without the user choosing that action.
Acceptance criteria
- [x] For a Nitro user, any individual file larger than 500 MB is rejected client-side before it is sent.
- [x] For a non-Nitro user, any individual file larger than 10 MB is rejected client-side before it is sent.
- [x] Files at or below the applicable per-file limit are not rejected by this size validation.
- [x] Rejecting an oversized file does not result in a server 403 response.
- [x] For Nitro Basic and Nitro Classic users, any individual file larger than 50 MiB is rejected at attachment-selection time.
- [x] Selecting an oversized regular-message attachment does not stage it and presents an explanatory popup; Catbox is offered only through 200 MB (200,000,000 bytes) and Litterbox only through 1 GB (1,000,000,000 bytes), with permanence or 24-hour retention made clear.
- [x] No third-party upload starts until the user explicitly chooses it; a successful Catbox or Litterbox upload inserts the validated HTTPS result into the same draft, while cancellation or failure sends no Discord message.
